Strong performance from Luca Nierychlo in Bielstein
The young rider went to the third round of the ADAC MX Masters Junior Cup 85 on the
legendary Bielstein forest course. Luca Nierychlo from Central Hesse also took advantage of the opportunity to compete again with the international competition and further experience at the ADAC MX Masters.
The 85cc class ran three races this weekend for the first time this season.
After the traditional warm-up on Saturday morning, after a short break, we started off
time practice. The track was in perfect condition, so Luca had a lot of fun on the motorcycle
and promptly ended up in twelfth place. A good starting position for the three races.
With a good reaction, the fifth-grader got off to a good start the first race, but unfortunately was hit by someone else in the first wave section after the start curve and crashed. Finally another rider jumped into Luca.
Now, as in previous events, it was time to roll up the field from behind.
Luca also did well, from 40th place, the pilot of the AK Bouw-Hutten Metaal Junior showed all his skills and finally fought his way up to 13th place. A very strong performance
considering the top-level international field.
On Sunday morning there was a 15-minute warm-up, with Luca in ninth place
because he was able to build on his performance from Saturday very quickly.
At lunchtime we started the second race for the 85s this weekend. After a good start, the ADAC Hessen-Thüringen sponsored rider was initially in seventh place, he was able to work his way up to fourth place in the first laps and fought a few laps long in a great duel with the Czech Matyas Vyleta. From behind Austrian Ricardo Bauer made short work of both riders and took third place. Luca delivered a strong race and crossed the finish line in fifth place as best German.
The start of the third round of the race was anything but good. The starting gate remained extremely long above, Luca didn’t react ideally and only got through in about 30th position
to first corner. Passed the time loop after lap one in position 25 and showed the numerous
spectators his full potential during the race. He consistently worked his way forward
and with eleventh place, narrowly missed another top ten placement.
In the daily ranking, Luca achieved his best result in the Junior Cup 85 with eighth place overall.
Quote Luca: “I am very happy that I scored points in all three races and I am already looking forward to the next Masters events”.
The young boy from Central Hesse will now go back to 65ccm.Next weekend he will be on the starting gate at the EMX semi-finals in Lithuania and will do everything he can to qualify for the final in Loket, Czech Republic.
