Luca Nierychlo takes overall win at EMX65 in Denmark

The first round of european championship 65 was held on the new track in Svebolle, near Kopenhagen in Denmark.

10 years old Luca Nierychlo has arrived as one of the favourite riders for a win. During trackwald on Friday evening he said that he like the difficult track with all his jumps.

Warm up on saturday morning was very good. Luca set the fast lap times directly from begin oft he training session. First place in warm up.

Around mid day the pre qualifying time practice starts. In second lap Luca sets a very strong laptime to get first place. In the end of time practice he sets one more fast lap time and was four seconds quicker then the second place rider.

Qualifying race Luca started from pole position and gets an important Holeshot. He was leading the race till the end and win with a 10 second gap.

Sunday – Raceday. Warm up was pretty good, first place.

First moto start was ok, third place in first corner and taking the lead in the first lap. With a consistant and safe ride Luca wins the first race with a 34 second gap infront of Kash van Hamond and Cohen Jagielski.

Second moto Luca had also a good start with second place. He was pushing hard for lead and overtook the current leader of the race Cohen Jagiels from Great Britain. In second lap the Husky rider crashed hard and Jagielski gets the lead back.

After getting back on the bike the AK Bouw-Hutten Metaal Junior Team rider come back strong and take the lead back again in third lap. He pulls away and win the second moto with a 29 second gap.
Jagielski finished in a good second and Lucas Taylor from Denmark in third place.

Luca wins his first overall in a EMX65 event. Jagielski from Great was second and Kash van Hamond from the Netherlands completes the podium on third place.

With the red plate Luca will travel tot he next round of EMX65 on the legendary Dutch track of Valkenswaard in two weeks.
